About Ronald McDonald House at Stanford: Ronald McDonald House at Stanford provides shelter, support, and community to the families with critically ill children receiving medical treatment at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Families often stay at the House for weeks, months – or even a year or more. Families are asked to pay a $10 nightly room donation, however, no family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.
